Barclays Premier League
Craven Cottage, 1 March 2008

FULHAM 0

MANCHESTER UNITED 3
(Hargreaves, Park, Davies (og))

United earned a valuable three points at Craven Cottage with 3-0 win over Fulham, while Arsenal could only manage a draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Carlos Tevez went close from distance on seven minutes, forcing Antii Niemi into a smart save down by his left-hand post. Van der Sar, meanwhile, was called into action a minute later flinging himself to his right to keep out Danny Murphy's rasping, dipping volley.

Owen Hargreaves scored the first goal by a successful free-kick and put up United. The second goal was done by Ji -sung Park with a head into the net via the underside of the bar.

United did find the net on 72 minutes when John O'Shea's low cross was diverted into his own net by the hapless Simon Davies. At the end, United won three points in his race title.
