United showed a good performance in Europe and it got a valuable victory, scoring two goals away. 

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 36th goal of the season from Paul Scholes cross before half-time. In the 66 minute, Rooney scored his 4th goal in UCL. The result leaves United like favourites to reach the semi-final against Barcelona.
