BLACKBURN 1 - 1 UNITED

Barclays Premier League
Ewood Park, Sat 19 April

BLACKBURN ROVERS 1
(Santa Cruz 21)

MANCHESTER UNITED 1
(Tevez 88)

Carlos Tevez's late equaliser kept Manchester United on course for the Premier League title as they earned a crucial point at Blackburn.

The Argentinian headed the ball home with two minutes to go after Paul Scholes had flicked on a corner from Nani.
Tevez's goal cancelled out the opener Roque Santa Cruz leaving the Red Devils three points ahead of Chelsea with the teams meeting next Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

Victory for Sir. Alex Ferguson's side would surely see them retain their crown given their vasty superior goal difference.
