Barclays Premier League
Sunday 21, September 2008
Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 1 (Kalou)

United 1 (Park)

Kalou's late equaliser let Chelsea follows unbeaten in home and win a point against United.

Ji-Sung Park scored his goal to put United ahead 1 - 0 in the 18th minute, after Petr Cech fumbled Berbatov's shot.

Edwin Van der Sar left the game for injury in the first half, allowing Tomaz Kuszczak could make his debut in the Premier League.

Sir Alex opted to leave Ronaldo on the bench, where he was joined by Carlos Tevez, as Berbatov and Rooney were paired up front.

Van der Sar had a knee injury after an  accidental clash with Florent Malouda. Then, He was limped off  and replaced by Tomaz Kuszczak after 31th minutes following another fumble.

Rooney was booked for a crude lunge at Ashley Cole, and the punishment was doubled when Kalou headed Mikel's obi free-kick beyond a static Kuszczak. And later, it took a desesperate block from Gary Neville to deny Kalou, deflecting his shot over the top as United hung on for a point.
