Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has publicly admitted for the first time that he is keen on joining Arsenal this summer.
M'Vila has confirmed he will leave Rennes this summer and is also a target for Inter Milan, while Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid have also shown interest.
Arsenal are widely seen as favourites to sign the 21-year-old, who earlier this month stated he would make a decision about where he will be playing his club football at the end of the European Championships.
But the France international has put the Gunners on alert by admitting: "I have heard Arsenal are interested in me. I like Arsenal and I like the Premier League.
"I don’t know what is happening with the clubs, but yes, I would be interested in the Premier League and Arsenal."
Reports in France earlier this month had suggested Man Utd were considering making a move to sign the tough-tackler, while RMC Sport reported that two unidentified clubs have lodged bids to sign the £17million-rated player.
