Lyon revealed at the weekend that Lloris will be allowed to leave the club this summer providing their valuation is met.
It is believed the Ligue 1 club are ready to sell one or more of their more valuable players this summer to help balance the books after missing out on Champions League football for next season.
Reports over the past week have suggested Liverpool are keen on signing Lloris as Pepe Reina continues to be linked with a move to AC Milan.
But according to reports in France on Monday, Arsenal are ready to make a move to sign the France international.
According to Telefoot, Arsene Wenger is keen on signing his compatriot, while other reports suggest a £12million bid could be tabled in the coming days.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas told TF1 at the weekend: "Lloris can go, but only for a decent price in relation to the market."
It is thought 25-year-old Lloris, who has also been linked with Tottenham, could be available for around £15m.
