Bologna forward Gaston Ramirez, who has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool, could leave for less than his €20million valuation, according to his agent.
But Pablo Bentancur has revealed that as things stand, his client is more likely to join Juventus or Wolfsburg than a Premier League club.
Ramirez has been on Liverpool's radar for some time, while Chelsea, Man City, and rivals Manchester United are all believed to have sent scouts to Italy earlier this year to watch him in action.
Last week, Bologna's sporting director, Roberto Zanzi, told clubs wanting to sign the 21-year-old that their €20m valuation must be met if a deal is to go through.
But according to Bentancur, who earlier this year confirmed Liverpool, Man City, and Tottenham were keen on signing his client, it is Juve and Wolfsburg who are leading the race to lure him away from the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
When asked if it was true that a meeting with Juventus officials took place last week, Bentancur told Calciomercato: "No, it is not, though I must admit that Juventus are interested in the player."
And of Wolfsburg's interest, he admitted: "With them there is an ongoing concrete discussion. And in this case I can confirm that he has spoken with their management."
But Bentancur also believes it is still possible Ramirez could leave Bologna for less than €20m, despite Zanzi's recent comments.
"I don’t like to talk about figures. The valuation placed on the boy is very high and do not forget that 30 per cent of his rights belong to Penarol," he said.
"But I think that if someone seriously wants him, then an agreement can be found with the Rossoblu."
