Liverpool have are keen on signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski, his agent has claimed.
Liverpool have been linked with a number of players over the past few days and it has been confirmed that they are closing in on an £8million deal for Roma striker Fabio Borini.
Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge are also thought to be on the club's radar as new manager Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his squad.
Rodgers admitted on Monday the club were looking to bring in at least one new face by the end of the week, and Jerzy Brzeczek, the uncle and representative of Blaszczykowski, has stated that the Merseysiders are interested in signing his 26-year-old nephew.
Inter Milan, Lazio, and two Russian clubs are also showing interest in the Poland international.
A statement posted on Kubablaszczykowski.pl read: "Jakub has a contract with Borussia and is happy at the club, so he will not make any rash decisions.
"All important discussions regarding his future will be conducted with Borussia."
