Man Utd to launch improved bid for Lucas Moura worth €41m - report

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to launch a new bid for Sao Paulo startlet Lucas Moura worth around €41million.
Lucas Moura
Moura is one of a number of players on United's radar, and Old Trafford officials flew out to Brazil last week to try and complete a deal for the 19-year-old.
Moura's father is believed to have held talks with United officials in the last few days, and it is believed the Brazil international, who is currently in England preparing for the London 2012 Olympics, is keen on joining the Red Devils.
Sao Paulo director Marco Aurelio Cunha earlier this week claimed United had made a €35m (£27million) bid for the teenager, which was rejected by the South American club.
And according to Goal.com, United are now ready to return with a final offer of €41m (£32m), which they are confident will be enough to seal the deal.
"Manchester United made a very important offer of €35million but they would need to produce a little more," Cunha was quoted as saying by TMW on Thursday night.
"For us there is only Neymar worth more, after him is Lucas and we would not want to sell for less than this sort of value.
"For us it is still better to have a good player than lots of money in the bank."
Santos striker Neymar is valued by his club at £40million.
Lucas has also been linked with Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
