"We have reached an agreement, the deal is done," Leonardo told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a PSG player, he can write our history."
The club have called a press conference for Wednesday afternoon where Ibrahimovic will be officially unveiled.
The big-spending French club, who signed Ibra’s former Rossoneri team-mate Thiago Silva last week, have been locked in talks with the Sweden striker after agreeing terms with the Italian club over a £50 million double deal for the pair.
Negotiations have been complicated and extensive – with Ibra believed to be seeking assurances about the long-term viability of the project, not to mention a weekly wage of around £200,000 – but it appears he has finally accepted their contract offer.
PSG finished second in Ligue 1 after a Qatari takeover that allowed them to rival the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid in the transfer market.
They will contest Champions League football next season under coach Carlo Ancelotti but were beaten to the domestic title by unfancied Montpellier.
